Injectable Adequan For Dogs Joint Medication
Adequan injection meds come in two different versions, adequan for horses and adequan for dogs. Both Adequan Equine and
Adequan Canine are given as an injection and are designed to help control arthritis pain and symptoms.
Adquan is fast acting - it can start to work within hours and often provides relief for up to three days.
Adequan helps by inhibiting enzymes that can break down cartilage in the dog joint. It helps relieve pain and stimulates
the cartilage repair process. During treatment adquan is usually
given as an intramuscular injection approximately every four days for 28 days. Side effects and adverse
drug interactions are possible with
Adequan so you will want to visit thoroughly with your veterinarian regarding what to watch for, as well as
let them know what other pet medications, foods and supplements your dog is taking.

A Summary Of Online Reviews: In general the reviews on adequan were somewhat mixed, it seemed as though it did not
work at all for some dogs but most other pet owners claimed it changed their dog's lives for the better making them almost
good as new - a few even calling it a "miracle" drug. The side effects reported by pet owners from Adequan
were few to none and several were glad to have an alternative to using NSAID medications. Many of those pleased with the
product also liked the fact that it appeared to be quick acting, effective and the maintenance results usually succesful over the long run too.
