Some pet owners prefer to deal with flea and tick problems by utilizing a spray on form of application.
Two of the most popular flea tick sprays include Frontline and Adams. However, there a few differences
between the two.
Frontline Spray is a monthly product with a long lasting residual effect. It contains the
same flea tick control ingredients as the original Frontline Top Spot monthly topical application product.
Frontline spot ons are actually the easiest to administer product but
some pet owners prefer the spray because it can be a more cost effective way to treat multiple pets.
However, the frontline spray variety is a messier process and it requires
wearing gloves and following strict safety guidelines. It is also important to note that
frontline spray is not recommended for those suffering from asthma or respiratory illness
as some people can have an adverse reaction to the spray product.
Adams flea and tick spray, a pyrethrins flea control product, is more of an as needed product
designed to kill presently existiing fleas, ticks and lice once they are discovered - to quickly
kill and remove the pesky pests.
