Frontline and Certifect Flea and Tick Control Meds
Merial now offers several options for monthly topical flea control. There are the original frontline meds which
help repel and prevent fleas and ticks, however, they only protects against adult fleas. Later
they added Frontline Plus to the line. The "Plus" variety kills fleas at all
stages of development including eggs, larvae
and adults. Recently they added Certifect to the line, certifect is similar to Frontline Plus,
but certifect has an additional ingredient, Amitraz, for stronger protection against ticks.
